Waist: around the narrowest part of your waist, just above the belly button.
Hips: with your feet together, around the widest part of your buttocks.

Between two sizes? Choose the larger size for even greater comfort. For the sweater, your bust measurement is what matters; for the trousers, your hip measurement.
